SS 528 combines different balustrading on either side of the continuous tread and riser solid oak steps. The inside is a fibrous plaster monolithic style panel which has a stainless handrail set into it. The structural integrity of the design comes from an inner stringer set into the plaster panelling, the outer stringer supporting the glass panelling.
