SS 667 is a particularly elegant straight stair with a helical inner balustrade allowing it to splay out at the top and bottom of the flight. The treads are supported on a stringer set into the wall on one side and the toughened glass balustrading on the other, structural calculations indicated the need for the stainless risers that you can see at the end of each tread.
