Made for the Sloane Street branch of Hermes this neat stair has open rise treads in jatoba wood chosen by the client. The handrail is also in hardwood but Hermes had it clad in light grey leather for a more interesting tactile experience. The guardrail around the opening (see More) is in extra thick toughened glass with no rail to cap it and looks very clean.
