This horseshoe shaped stair is based on our G-fin support system where glass risers and treads are bolted into a mild steel support column, it is in fact a variation on the theme seen on SS 672 Coach House. The implementation here allows light to pass through the stair into the lower floor and onto the traditional stair that continues down.
