Balustrade

Balustrade and guardrail can be supplied in a wide range of designs, materials and finishes. Internal stair balustrade must be at least 900mm high on the pitch of the stair and floor guardrail must be at least 900mm high for domestic use and 1100mm high for public use. Important points to consider are whether the balustrade and guardrail needs to comply with the the 100mm sphere rule and the level of loading on the balustrade or guardrail.
